A FIVE-star boutique hotel called the Lesic Dimitri Palace has just opened on the island of Korcula (below), just off the Dalmatian coast. It’s built around a bishop’s palace just above the old town and each room is themed on Marco Polo’s Silk Road travels (the explorer was born on the island).
